OPEN STUDIO FAQS
 

  • A meeting (email, phone or in-person) & permission are required for new Open Studio sign-ups.
     

  • Indicate preference for wheel or handbuilding to ensure plenty of safe space!
     

  • *We do not accept use of outside clay
     

  • Clay is not included in the monthly Studio fee but can be purchased in studio.
     

  • We offer a variety of Standard clays & a house reclaimed blend!

OPEN STUDIO SUBSCRIPTIONS 

Open studio is for the potter who knows their way around the studio!

Please note: We are a teaching studio, not a production studio. Work completed in-studio will be fired at our discretion and schedule. Please email us for details if you'd like to rent a kiln to fire work in bulk or outside of our firing schedule.

Come to any and all open studio days as often as you like!

Come to one Open Studio per week.

Locker Rental

Free up your shelf with the addition of your own locker. Perfect for securing and storing your tools, clay, or change of clothes.

Firing & fees

To maintain timely firing, we only fire work made in the studio. 

If you create from home, you can rent a kiln! 

Work that is not picked up within 3 weeks will be discarded. Remember to pick up your work! 

RAKU FIRING

Additional raku firing is available on a limited basis. 
$5 / pot under 8" any direction

$10 / pot greater than 8" in any direction 


** our last Raku is typically end of April /May before it gets too hot.

For all the young high school artists who need studio space and time! Until you can get back to school, we offer a chance to book a time with your peers and get guidance on your projects. Learn it online and make it with us.
