Bring creatures to life in clay! In this six-week course, Kyle leads students through building expressive animal sculptures designed specifically for raku firing. You’ll learn sculptural construction, proportion, surface texture, hollowing for firing success, and preparation for raku—no prior experience needed. Expect lots of demos, hands-on guidance, and creative problem-solving. Includes 25 lbs of clay, firing, and a raku firing on the final class day. Bold, playful, and a perfect introduction to sculpture and raku processes.
