Take your wheel skills further by combining throwing and handbuilding techniques into one cohesive, expressive form. This 6-week combo class is designed for potters who already have some wheel experience and are ready to experiment beyond traditional forms. Students will create pieces both on and off the wheel, then alter, assemble, and enhance them using handbuilt elements, texture, and surface detail. Expect creative problem-solving, unique forms, and plenty of flair as you explore how these two approaches work together. This class is ideal for potters looking to loosen up, push their forms, and develop a more personal style.
