Red Clay Workshop & Demo Spend your Saturday night getting a little red-handed! Join us for a fun, hands-on workshop celebrating Georgia’s iconic Lizella red clay. We’ll kick things off with a live demonstration covering the unique personality of red clay. Then you’ll jump in and experience it for yourself, exploring the rich color and character of this beautiful native clay. We’ll also experiment with marbling red clay with stoneware, creating one-of-a-kind patterns that add movement and depth to your work. Whether you’re throwing on the wheel or handbuilding, you’ll leave with new techniques, fresh inspiration, and a deeper appreciation for working with local clay.
