Service Description

Go wild, go weird, go wonderful—craft a face mug or jug on the form of your choice. We provide a mug or jug made on the potters wheel for you to decorate. Our resident jug man, Kyle Brown, will guide you through the steps to create a one-of-a-kind piece. Inspired by our Georgia Wood Fire Potters exhibition (and a little Jugtown mischief), we’ll take a quick tour, swap stories about the history of these expressive vessels, and then get our hands dirty making our own. Snaggle teeth? Big ears? A little attitude? Highly encouraged. We’ll fire your piece and have it ready for pickup in about two weeks. Come make something with a face only you could love.
