Cancellation Policy

Open Studio at Clayer & Co is for experienced ceramicists only. Participants must have prior clay experience and be able to work independently without instruction. You are expected to understand basic studio operations, safety practices, cleanup standards, and shared-studio etiquette. Clayer & Co is a shared, teaching-focused ceramics studio. Open Studio takes place alongside scheduled classes and programming, which always take priority. Participants must treat the studio, equipment, staff, and fellow artists with care and respect. Unsafe behavior, misuse of equipment, disruption, or failure to follow studio rules or staff direction may result in removal from the studio or loss of Open Studio access without refund. Clayer & Co reserves the right to cancel or modify Open Studio sessions due to classes, private events, maintenance, or operational needs. Any session cancelled by the studio will be fully refunded or credited. Participant cancellations must be made at least 24 hours prior to the session start time. Late cancellations are not eligible for refunds or credits. All work is fired at the participant’s risk. Clayer & Co is not responsible for lost or damaged work. Only approved materials may be used in studio kilns. À la carte Open Studio sessions are pack-in, pack-out and do not include storage or additional studio benefits. Studio etiquette applies at all times: If something’s unclear — holler. If something’s broken — tell us. If something’s not yours — don’t touch it. Clean up thoroughly, share the space, and for the love of clay… please don’t lick anything.
