Service Description

A 2-hour demonstration + hands-on workshop with Andrew. First, see one: Andrew will demonstrate how he makes and uses slips from scratch, using our studio clays to create different textures and effects. He’ll cover mixing, consistency, application, layering and his approach to decorating pots with slip. Then, do one: Each participant will receive a bottle form handmade by Andrew to use as their own practice piece. Experiment with the different slips, techniques and ideas from the demonstration and make it your own. The bottle is yours to experiment on. If you love what you create and want to keep it, leave it with us and we’ll bisque fire it for you at no additional charge.
